Phone Call
Recently we had a phone call early one Friday morning, „what is the difference between the ‘Bible Baptists’ and the ‘Baptists’?“ was the question we heard. This young lady was searching for a church to be active in. She has MS and gets around in a motorized wheelchair. She loves the Lord and has a great desire to share her faith with others. She carries Tracks and Christian Calendars in her wheelchair and passes them out on the streets while she is out and about. We were able to meet with her in her home and saw her desire to reach others.
Permanent Visa
Yes, yes, yes!!! Stefan is now the 4th person in our family to receive his permanent visa! On October 13th, one day before Stefan turned 16, we signed for his permanent visa. They also added to his Visa permission for him to work. This has never been given this way before and is usually very hard to get.
Power Teens
We had a Teen Nite for our Teens. It was one of those all-nighters, that we have not done in a long time. And wow was the night long! I guess we are not as young as we use be. We grilled hot dogs (actually Bratwurst) and had lots of fresh veggies and chips for them to munch on along with Texas brownies. The girls passed out around 1 am, but the boys made it all the way through till breakfast at 8:30 am. The first thing they asked the next morning at breakfast, was „when can we do it again?“
We had two sisters from our new neighbors join us. They are from Lebanon and are Muslim. They did not know what to think about thanking God for our food or of our conversations we had, but they were polite and listened. They could not stay all night, but said they really enjoyed being able to come. The muslim girls have been coming regularly to our teen meetings on Thursdays and joining in searching for scriptures and answers to life along with the rest of the group. We now have muslims, mormons and atheists joining us for Power Teens.
Please pray for these teens, that they will make their own decisions for the Lord and have the strength to stand.
