3 Percent Tax Hike

We are now paying 19% Sales Tax as of January 1st!!! On top of that, they raised the price of gasoline $.30 over night to cover a new „Luxury and Bio additive„ tax.

William will be in the states from February 22nd through April 19th for a short furlough to report to some of our churches in the north and to visit new churches. Please pray for safe traveling mercies and that the Lord will raise our support level to where it needs to be.

Petra and Marlen

„Will you pray?“

Marlen, 24 year old daughter of our neighbors, Frank and Petra, asked William „Will you pray that we get well?“ while she was home for the holidays. Shortly after she arrived for the Christmas holidays, the whole family came down with some kind of flu.
Frank and Marlen
Some may remember that we asked you to pray for Frank this past summer due to heart problems he was having which resulted in a triple by-pass and only having 35% of his heart capacity. This family knows that prayer works, we have spent many hours with them, sharing the gospel, praying and celebrating answers to prayer. So when Marlen came and asked William to pray, we felt honored. We did pray and they were up and around again, for us to be able to celebrate new year‘s eve with them.
Others have asked us to pray for various things over the years, between sickness, grades in school, stress with parents or teachers and even for the weather! Their comments are „We know your Boss listens when you pray!“ or „we know that God hears the prayers of the Baptists!“
Please continue to pray that they will realize that God can and wants to listen to them and their prayers also!

Family Prayers

We would also ask that you would keep William‘s parents, Gary and Betty Busch in your prayers. They have both had cancer in the last two years and are dealing with the effects of that, pinched nerves, MS and other various health problems.
