PASSING
William‘s Aunt passed away from very aggressive cancer very suddenly on July 24th. The cancer was discovered in early July. After they found out how aggressive the cancer was, the doctors said they could do nothing to help her. William was talking to his Mom on the telephone in the hospital room when she passed away and entered into a better place. Please pray for William‘s Mom, Betty, and her brother, John, during this time of sorrow.

PRAISING
Stefan got a clean bill of health from the surgeon on July 24th, only 5 weeks after fracturing his ankle! He is no longer on crutches, nor does he have to wear his „air-cast“ any more.

We are in the middle of the 6 week Summer break. School ended July 20th and starts back Sept. 3rd. Our children's ministry continues through the summer vacation for those children who do not get to go on vacation or will still be in the area. With the summer slump we are averaging 10 children and 11 teenagers. Please pray that the Lord will continue to work in their hearts!

Kathleen invited 5 couples over for coffee and cake for her birthday! We were able to have some good conversations with them, getting to know them and what is going on in their lives. Please continue to pray for the Lord to work in the lives of Ralf and Traudel, Frank and Carmen, Frank and Kirstin, and Manfred and Gabi, as well as Jens and Gabi, who were unable to come.


PRICING
As you may or may not know, there has been a 5% raise to our health insurance this year. This will add another $40 to our monthly costs. In order to help you see why we continue to need raises every year, we have put together a small chart showing the increased monthly cost for our health insurance since we were approved in 1990. Of course, this is only one of the many increasing costs that we experience and then add to that, the ever decreasing dollar! Please prayerfully consider extending a monthly increase to help us with the many monthly increases like this one! We thank you in advance for any financial help that you can give, whether as a one time gift or a monthly increase in support!!
